导演个人简介：傅纵源，青年电影导演、编剧、剪接师，毕业于上海戏剧学院影视导演专业，入选美国《超越好莱坞：2024年最佳独立电影人》一书（ Selection for the 'BEYONDHOLLYWOOD: TOP Independent Filmmakers of the Year 2024' Book），代表作品曾获电影节数十项大奖.

导演的话：时间在流逝，空间在变化，人与人的本我，自我，超我，在这个世界上似乎从来都没有变过，最让我在乎的就是总有一些人在虚假中能从他们的眼睛中看到真与诚，这双眼睛里的东西正是电影的意义。于是我便把人、时间和空间写进这个世界，他们发生了，然后他们从记忆变成了情绪，这就是我的电影。

影片名字：《云雀高飞》Lark Ascending

影片简介：小女孩和父母生活在城中村逼仄的阁楼中。某日，一个来探亲的小男孩拉小提琴的声音吸引了她的注意。从那之后，她恋上了从窗口观察对方及欣赏其演奏的优雅乐曲。贫困的生活和学习的压力使她渴望逃离，她开始幻想自己也能拥有“一把琴”。在小男孩走后，经济窘迫的她决定去琴行“偷”一把琴参加比赛。然而，当事情败露，小女孩被抓，她又被母亲带回了原来的生活之中。小女孩这才发现，当一切消失殆尽，她还是那个被困在阁楼中的她，但，隐隐约约的，她好像总能听到那首名为《云雀高飞》的曲子。

A little girl lives with her parents in a cramped attic in an urban village. One day, the sound of playing the violin caught her attention. It is from a boy who was just visiting his family here. From then on, the girl falls in love with watching him through the window and indulging in the elegant music he plays. She dreams of escaping living under poverty and academic pressure, and she starts to fantasize about owning ‘a violin’ herself. After the boy leaves, in her lack of money, she decides to ‘steal’ a violin from the music store to enter the performance competition. However, when things fall apart, the little girl is caught and brought back to her old life by her mother. Only then she realizes that when everything is gone, she is still the same person who is trapped in the attic. But faintly, she always seems to hear the music called ‘Larking Ascending’.

导演阐述：我们普通人的生活其实跟故事中的小女孩一样，我们有过梦想，有过坚持，有过反抗。但是，好多时候我们依旧会回到原来的生活，发现了生活依旧是一层不变，但是总有那么一束光照耀在我们依恋的小窗口上。本片采用文艺片纪实手法拍摄，便于拉近与生活的距离。

Our ordinary lives are actually like the little girls in the story. We have had dreams, persevered, and resisted. However, many times we still return to our original life and realize that life remains unchanged, but there is always a beam of light shining on the small window of our attachment. This film is shot using a documentary approach of literary films, which is convenient for bringing it closer to life.
